That's not a bad run to run the engine in. I've been on a cruise with the vic boys, and a couple of other drives & just managed to clock up just over 1500kms on the newly rebuilt F8b, so it's time to give it a first service now, unsure what oil i will use, 10w40 or 20w50 maybe. Been running it in on run in sae 30 oil.

running 10/30 nulon oil run it in both 660 turbo engines :D

10/30 eh? Interesting.

My F8b is pretty tight, once run in it probably has 5thou oil clearance, had 4thou when assembled, so i need to keep that in mind when selecting the oil for it.
