so is this surging im having at low throttle detonation,pinging?
....its not miles per gallon its smiles per gallon....

Surging at low RPM can be a good indication of a loose/worn timing or crank pulley.
F8B EFI turbo - Three pots and a snail.

If you haven't done your timing belt I'd say check that too. The 2 f10a belts I've done were so loose I was surprised it hadn't skipped.

BTW, set aside half the day as you have to remove a lot of crap just to get to the timing belt.
