Getting a chrome tip welded on your existing muffler is the cheapest option.

If you've still got the original exhaust system then chances are you'll have to replace the whole thing if you want a cannon put on anyway, because it will be about 80% rust.

Shop around - 2 years back I paid $150.00 for a 1 3/4" full system, I had to spend another $60.00 to add a resonator later when some 'out of town' cops told me it was too loud (why on earth did it not worry the local cops??) the finished system includes a 14'' long 'hot dog' resonator & the muffler is a 2" Walker turbo sports item. The F8b sounded like a GM two stroke diesel  "I hear a BIG truck but see a MightyBoy" I wonder what the G10a will sound like.
So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..
