Hey Team,
I'm bored, so I decided to make a kind of pointless thread
I've seen a similar thread on another forum so I thought I'd give it a go here. If you don't want to tell everyone what you do then you don't have to.
So, as the title suggests, what do you do for a crust?
I myself am currently unemployed, and have been since Jan/Feb this year with a spine injury. Before that I was a Furniture Removalist, and I'm also a qualified carpenter, which I hate doing, hence why I quit and started working as a removalist.
Since I've been off work though, I've teamed up with my mrs. cousin who lives with me and we're trying our hand at running our own internet marketing business as a part time sort of thing. So far it's actually going ok, which I really didn't expect
Your turn
What do you do for a crust?
Traffic control officer level 2 Tues. to Fri. I have my own business lawnmowing/gardening & I now offer welding & mower repairs (cutting decks mainly). Traffic control is doing my head (& bank balance) in so I need to get out into something more profitable. South East Qld is lower pay in most vocations than other areas - Traffic control is paying 'bout $18.00/hour - Govt. intervention should push it up to $23.00/hour from Jan.2011 but won't stop me putting half my earnings into travel for work.
So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..
I always thought traffic controllers got paid awesome. Maybe not...gadj wrote:Traffic control officer level 2 Tues. to Fri.
