anyone know how the secondary venturi on 1983 hatch solex stock carby is kept in place? I am assuming it is pressed in. Mine has come loose and wont stay in place -any suggestions?
There should be a casting on the venturi that allows it to lock into the hole. Over time the alloy wears down and it comes loose. I usually just tap a small shim in to hold it in place.
