Although I haven't done that particular swap, I've looked at both subframes and they look pretty much identical. I can't see any reason it wouldn't be close to a direct swap, except obviously things like the ECU and maybe some wiring.

sweet, i thought it would be because the F5A and F6A seem to be very much the same,
how about the AWD gear box bolting on , im sure it would be but just want to your opinion.

With the exception of the strange F5B, as far as I know the F series gearboxes all share the same bellhousing bolt pattern.
