I put my front speakers into the side of my custom centre console to avoid fouling the winders
So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..

just using a kit off ebay.

It just spins the original winder, as long as the window winds freely the motor should cope, also has a manual winder incase motor fails.

Manual winder still avail. is a plus... especially if you miss your turn & end up in Brekkie Ck :snigger: I'm not keen on electric accessories without manual back-ups when they perform essential functions.

Those tyres are great, i'm on my second set...
They were Nankang's tread pattern but have been re-named Sonar.
I had a set on my 13's and now i have a set on my 14's, no complaints at all, you get plenty of aquaplaning at 110+ in heavy rain but thats to be expected in a car that weighs less than 500kg on fat tyres.. haha!

Nah... Its interesting more than scary.. lol
I only had once that i was slightly scared... On the bruce at mango hill in the pissing rain the boy decided it didnt want to stay in 1 lane.
But this was with the old tyres that were not that healthy.

Aquaplaning in a MB wouldn't be as "interesting" as in an LJ50 wearing 30 x 9.5R15's.
The funny side was it didn't make much difference whether I eased off or powered on - the A14 Nissan engine meant enough power to spin the wheels fast enough to get back to bitumen (4 high of course). I sorely miss having my little toys on the road, the Suzuki's are huge fun.

seeing as I can just reach over and wind up the passenger window i see no need for power windows. anyhow after having a set that used to jam up or down and pain in the arse when the passenger wants to get out of the car and can't wind the windows up with the ignition off i could not care less about them. other more important things to do.
