hey guys
i was just wondering if anyone would be able to help me out with the details of replacing an f5a with an f5a. Is it easier to take out just the engine or the gearbox aswell?? and if so how to go about it?? Any help is much appreciated.

Much easier to take out the engine and gearbox as a single unit. Undo the three bottom engine mounts, upper engine mount, disconnect cables/wires, drain fluids and hoist away - pluck the driveshafts as you lift the motor.
F8B EFI turbo - Three pots and a snail.

The F8B manual has a step by step guide for removing the engine. I assume its pretty much identical to removing the F5A
