I'm putting 13x6 +21 on my Boy and they stick out a fair way.

Looking at putting 175/50R13 on to give them a nice phat look. Should fill out the flares nicely. :)

Went away and googled it... (Was shooting from memory - not what it used to be!)
You're right...

Smaller offset means the distance between the back face and the centreline of the tyre is less, so the tread effectively moves outward...

Well I rang half the tyre shops here in Brisbane and nobody has or can get in 165/50r14 I even had a place ring simex today and said they no longer do that size looks like I'll have to settle with the 175/50r14 nang kangs

I'v got sonar (there nang kang but cheaper) bob jane do them 97 a pop.

Pirelli also make 175/50/R14. Pricey though.

My current setup..
Sonar 175/50R14
About 80-90 bucks a corner.
Same exact tread patten as my last set of 13" Nankangs.
Grip like shit.. Except for aquaplaning in the wet @ 110kph... But that could just be excessive speed in a very light car. :lol:
