If you don't mind my asking, what did the studs set you back?
Pretty interesting setup you have with the coilovers, too. Can you wind them down any lower? Or have you just got it at that height for wheel/tyre clearance?
Cheers

The studs were 6 dollars each.
I can wind the coil overs down a little more but i will need to then shorten the stroke of the shock absorber.
I still need to lower the back, and once that is done and the car sits level it should suit me fine.

So i finally recieved my lowering block kit.
It's a 2in block which i purchased from dellow conversions in syd.
The kit is to suit datsun 120y.
The only modification required to fit was drilling the doweled hole out a little to sit over the original suzuki dowel in the leaf spring.
I couldn't help myself so i lowered the front a little more also off the coil over. Shock still has adequate stroke.
This is how it looks. There is some very slight scrubbing on the tyres going over heavy bumps so the next thing is rolling the guards on the rear...oh, and the nos kit should be installed by next week.
Will keep you all posted.

Got stuck into it over the weekend so i thought i'd put up some pics of the nos kit installed.
Once i get another rocker cover and weld a breather to it, the final touches can be done.
In terms of performance.. it certainly goes better, and you can definately feel the difference.
I have a 25 hp jet in at the moment, and may even try the 30 hp jet.
Seeing as though its a "sneaky pete" system (thats actually the name of the kit), i too thought i'd be sneaky and hide the line through the breather.Once i get another rocker cover and weld a breather to it, the final touches can be done.

How much juice do you get from a bottle? 30 seconds?
F8B EFI turbo - Three pots and a snail.
I've been told based on the size of the bottle (which is small, remember it's meant to be hidden hence the "sneeky" part) you can get approx 45 sec in total.
I'll let you know when it runs out and then can guage a time frame based on that.

No additional fuel is required for this system. Its a dry system and only a 30hp jet.
I even left the ignition advance where it was.
Anything bigger than this jet then i would have to add additional fuel and ignition retard.

Hi Peter,
Just wondering if you coulf provide some more information about the coilover kit that you used.
Made for a Honda Civic, did you need to use any Suzuki parts to make it mount up or did it line up perfectly?
Just wondering if there might be a cheaper alternative to the Tein option!
Thanks.
