Dont Avon do a road legal-ish semi slick in an appropriate size?

Nope, but Yokohama Advan do. Nowhere near cheap enough for the way Colin burns through them though.

To think I had been glad my tyres let me slide a little if I pushed a bit hard... When my MB was mobile I was scared of flipping it if I got too much bite on the road. As mine slipped I just dialled in the tiller & powered through.
So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..

I'm with gadj... I'd rather controlled sliding.

But with Colins ute it's an uncontrolled skid, through EVERY corner!
