Question with regards to the Carry's front windscreen, partically the '88 model.
I'm pretty sure the prior years share the same windscreen.
Is the winscreen the sealant type or pop in type, like the side windows?
A few years ago I bought a windscreen rubber mould for the local model to replace the one on my van where the rubber has shrunken on the top of passenger side, so the mould has lifted.
Back then I noticed the rubber mould I got was different to what was on my van, the one I got looks like the pop on/in ones?. The one on my van are the standard sealant type, can the mould I bought will work?
The Van has been sitting there for the past 3 years and the paint has started to bubble under the windscreen rubber mould at the bottom. After having a look by lifting the mould, looks like rust has started to eat through the panel, will have to sort this or out before it gets worse. Engine rebuilt is still going super slo-mo at the moment, getting there though.
