Need the cams,dizy,rocker covers...
I'm planning on doing a twincam head on the f8b block...
Any ideas of what else I might need....

I have seen this done, but I would not suggest doing this unless you have a lot of funds available.
The pistons need to be machined to clear the vavles. I can't remember most of the other stuff, because it was going be unreasonable to get all the machining work done.
There are many other small things that are needed to be done to make it work.

Yes I am aware of the piston issue....
I was planning of building a hi comp engine so I would be getting custom pistons to suit....
Also going to use a set of individual carbs from a gsxr....
Can anyone help...

You'll be lucky to find someone in Aus that has a head to part with, so I'd start hitting up Yahoo Auctions if you're serious.

With the twin cam head you'll also have to do an electronic ignition upgrade, so make sure you get the dizzy.

Out of curiosity, where will you source your pistons?

Any chance of sharing their details? I'm interested in building a stronger bottom end for my F8B.

Ye look up pure performance motorsport in Melbourne Victoria...talk to Tommy he's the boom when it comes to everything race....he built my m15a pistons and rods....and my mate's stroker 1.4ltr kit for the g13b....my current car is running 25psi on e85 and is making around the 220kw mark...atw in a 94 gti...and there's still more in it....

I think they cost me around the $1800 for all custom pistons and rods....
Pistons get made from a mahle blank from Germany and the rods get made hear in Melbourne....
Might sound a lot but you pay for what you get.....
