hi everyone,
can anybody let me know how much for a f8 engine, manual gearbox and radiator. i have been offered this for $120 for the lot. condition is unknown at present i will be going out to look at it this weekend. apparently the cylinders are free and moving but because the inlet manifold is off it is unable to be started.
any suggestion what i should be looking at would be help full as iam only a novice at this.
do i have to get the gear stick and links as well or can i use the f5a stick
thanks heaps

$120 for an engine and box is a good deal regardless of whether it goes or not. If you can connect up a battery then you can do a compression test and see if the motor is any good, just be sure to turn it over first with the spark plugs removed and a squirt of oil in each cylinder.
You can use the original shifter mechanism, but you will need an F8B inlet manifold and carby for it to run well.

hi everyone, I picked up a f8b motor and Manual gearbox to suit but it is missing a few things.
Fly wheel, alternator, starter motor, clutch plate.
my question is can I transport the parts from my F5A motor or do i have to get the parts to suit.
if so any suggestion as to where i can get them.
thanks
