I am looking for a SS40T?? (543c.c.) Short motor or complete, so that I can restore it and keep driving my MB until I do the switchover. Mine is smoking a bit and needs new rings etc. I'm located in Byron bay, don't really care what condition it's in as long as it's in reasonable condition without a cracked head e.g....email Max at vonmax37@gmail.com....Thanks.

hey man I have one from my 800 conversion runs fine except for timing :) up in Hervey Bay QLD though :/

Hi Mate sounds good, how much do you want for it? My other big problem would be how to get it down here to Byron bay....???? Any suggestions!

It's currently bolted into the hatch i took the F8B out of if putting the whole thing on a truck is an option

Thanks for that,it's just a pity it's so far away, I think I will just have to keep looking and hope something turns up nearer home mainly because I don't have room to put a whole car body where I live.
