Should sound much better, especially if you cut the door trims to allow sound to resonate inside the doors. Best to put a couple of sheets of dynamat on the inside of the door skins too. :thumbup1:

I had similar speaker pods in my doors until I finally got the shits with kicking the speakers all the time, so I swapped to Polk 5.5" super slims that I managed to fit in the doors with no spacers at all.

im going to put these in the back side walls of my hatch so they are out of the way

Ahh, good plan. You shouldn't need the spacers if you put them in there.

Yeah but I think they will look good angled towards the front a little, I might try and find the correct color vinal spray so they are the same color as the trim
