:-( she got knocked back on a few smaller items..

the blinkers don't turn off or auto cancel, does anyone know of what is required or what parts i need to resolve this ?

Drivers seat belt is fraying and needs replacement, is there a good place to find replacement belts ? i see the post about fitting the new kit but i didnt want to spend that much just yet is there a cheap alternative ?

other things are just engine mounts and a few lights not working.

hopefully have it sorted soon.

Yeah i can find the engine mounts so thats easy, i can find a few different seat belts etc and worst case there is the ones the the faq.

what about the blinker cancelation ?

it appears there is a piece missing in the assembly, the pins on the steering wheel are no where near the actual mechanism so must be a piece missing.

anyone replaced the mechanism or have a way to get parts for it ?

I took apart my steering and combination switch and it appears there is a plastic bit missing that makes it cancel the blinkers.

looking online i find a few different combination switches but am having trouble finding the exact same one

mine is 37400-8400

i can fine various other versions some are for a Maruti that appear to be identical apart from the intermittent wipers.
at the moment i just want the car registered as cheap as i can get it done :-(

37400-80410M is the one at suzuistore

i found one on ebay that even has the int Wipers but just not sure if its going to be the same size still waiting on him confirming measurements.

anyone else have any details on these ?

thanks

I can't offer any help sorry, but I would be interested to find out if that part fits because my indicators don't auto cancel either.

Maybe it will just be a different connector on the end? I have an old one from a hatch that looks identical to the MB one, except for the connector.

That's strange, their facebook page is in very clear english!

I have just noticed that they are only 10-15mins away from my place. Maybe they would let me inspect one and compare to the MB one?
If that would help you, I might be able to organise that in the next week or so

Okay the new Unit arrived and i just got around to jumping on here, been really busy lately.

the plastic parts of the unit are identical, so i was able to transfer the blinker cancel piece to mine, the electronics are different so its not a direct swap but i knew that before i purchased it.

i was orriginally going to swap all the electronics from mine into this one but was worried i might stuff something as i did it, and all that was wrong on mine was the missing blinker cancel.

so for $56 you can replace all the plastics if your happy to play around or at least get the bits you need from these units.

hope that helps other get it sorted
