So... Is the Manual K frame different to the Auto?
I have always thought so but loads of ppl tell me its the same.
It looks like (from memory as I haven't owned a manual for about 20 yrs)It is just a bit different around the pan for the auto.
The question is will a Manual gearbox bolt in to a Auto K frame? as there is just a bit extra space for the pan on the auto.?
But the engine/gearbox mounts are in the same place for both?
But not the other way around (as the auto pan would fowl on the Manual K frame)
Hope that makes sense.

The frames are almost identical. The difference is the passenger side cradle rail is closer to the wheel. The mounting point doesn't line up with the manual gearbox mount, although you could fabricate a new mount bracket for the box, or cut the receiver off the k-frame and weld it back on in the right spot.

Not sure how/if any of that would affect the positioning of the lower radiator pipe though.
