Hey Guys / Girls
Just wondering if anybody has overhauled there carby on their 800cc motor?
I priced up a kit from Repco / Scotts. They said if available it would cost $165. Has anybody overhauled there carby and is this the price ? just sounded a bit steep. I have the 800 from a hatch in mine but don't know the year as of the hatch as the motor was out of a Mighty boy wreck. Also are there different carbies on the 550 / 800cc that I need to be aware of. Any help would be great. Thank you. Cris

Carby kit from Fuel Miser should cost no more than about $80. The kit is common for all F5A/F8B motors and comes with all the parts to suit the slight carby variations on different models. It does not include some of the parts required to fix/rebuild the carby on an auto, and does not include the secondary vacuum actuator.
