Marques (pronounced "Marks" - referring to car brands) in the Park will be happening again this year in Canberra on Sunday November 20.

Essentially this is a show and shine day for motoring enthusiasts. There are no prizes awarded, but the concept of the day is to enjoy the company of like-minded car nuts and check out some awesome vehicles.
There will be all shapes and sizes of cars, from vintage to modern, and hot-rods to collector cars.

This year I'm organising a Suzuki display with MightyBoys, Swifts, Balenos, Ignises and more. If anyone can make it or would like more information please let me know. It would be good to see a few MB's on display alongside mine.
In 2004 over 220 Vehicles attended the event, held among plentiful Shade trees and open grass on the shores of Lake Ginninderra in Belconnen.

This year we have organized:

· Breakfast (optional) at Rydges Eagle Hawk from 6:30 am ($12.50 per head, )

· A cruise to the Venue, departing from Rydges Eagle Hawk at 9.00am, This will allow participants to enjoy an organized run to John Knight Park and then set up for a relaxing day of Vehicle spotting.

I'll be there, and there are also some Swift guys going, Cappaccino, Ignis and Baleno too - we're putting on a Suzuki display.
