My name is Darren 43 and a FORD fan. My daughter purchased her MB so we could do it up. The car she is calling Bob it will be painted black with red flake and a phantom patton in it.
When I bought the 550cc motor and just about all the parts (running gear doors interior) from a van as the motor in it had a blowen head.
On stripping out the motor to get it ready to paint found out it had a F8B motor so now I have to decide what to do.
My daughter wants the F8 put back in and to fit a turbo but the NSW gov fixed that.

G'Day my name is Dale i just found this site when i was looking at info on mounting a F6A into a MB. I recently got my first MB after swaping my 1985 Honda Civic for it.
It is a 1987 it is in parts an in primer ready to be painted. It came with a F6A Alto rsr front cut complete with dash, panels, bonnet and scoop etc.
I have fitted the dash and new harness but i'm unfamiliar with the mounting of the new engine as i never saw the engine in the front cut it was already removed.
Well i live in Nowra, NSW South Coast. So Hopefully joining the forum i can find out information and over time with my experiences with mighty boys i can pass on info as well.
If someone could shine some light on the engine mount problem i have that would be appreciated.

Cheers Dale.

Some of you already know me from Redlinegti.com as my 2 current cars are both SA model GTi's (one turbo - Red..the other N/A - 2tone red/grey)
