Oh believe me, some of us can...

Any... back to the point...

Stiffening up your sway bars as described in other threads would certainly firm up your ride and reduce bodyroll. (if that's what you so desire)

Just as a point of interest, what wheels and rubber are you running? Something with a lower profile and less tyre wall flex is an easy way to firm up your ride a little without sacrificing your ride height, but you might be hard pressed to do it on the cheap...

Reducing the sidewall height of a tyre will not make the ride firmer, it will in fact just make it more choppy over bumps.

If you want to firm up the ride, I would suggest starting with resleeving the front struts and buying a set of gas shocks for the rear. To be honest, in an MB the ride can be firmed by just having good shocks and struts. There will be less jarring and smooth driving. ;)

Of course if you are looking at making the ride stiffer to improve cornering and load carrying etc, then get yourself some standard height heavy duty king springs for the front end, and a set of leaf springs from a Hatch for the rear. Of course this too will also make the ride more choppy given the light weight of the MB, so I would suggest stretching your budget to doing the shocks and struts as well.

I'm getting confused by the number of ways 'a firm ride' can be interpreted all of a sudden!
