thanks,

jono

I bought a Datsun Weber adapter plate by Redline.

oh okay, that was for a 32/36 though wasn;t it? will i have trouble with the dual throats going into a single hole, like needing a funnel shaped adaptor plate? don't suppose anybody would know what adaptor plate i could get for mine, the 30DIC?

thanks,

jono

My weber was dual throat, and the adapter plate was a funnel of sorts. ;)

Hey guys.
I know Jono has fitted one of these weber carbs. I think he mentioned he drilled out the base of the carb to make it fit?

I haven't done any running around for an adapter yet, but was wondering if the base hole spacing would be the same for a 30dic as they are for other smaller webers?

Does anyone out there maybe have the base dimensions of a 32/36 or something like it? :) :)

Weber off a 4L falcon? Don't think you'd get close to tuning it for an F8B!

They run them in geminis.
Anyone got a good 32/36 to swap?

Hello... Help needed :? :D

If I were to buy another weber for my car, and I probably will for my 'good' engine, I'd be seriously looking at a weber 28/36 (or 34?) that came off performance cortinas and the like.

Any of the DGV Webers use the same base plate Fritz. All you need is an off-the-shelf Redline Datsun adapter plate.

Excellent!!!
Any particular type of datsun I should be looking for, or are they all the same?

Thanks. :)

1000, 1200, 1600 - they should all be the same. ;)

I've just emailed redline products to find out about the adaptor & will post details when I receive them.

Brayden, could you tell me if the adaptor that you used rotated the carb through 90 degrees? I've not seen one, but it seems like that is the most likely way of doing this. :?
One of the pics in your album suggests otherwise though.
