Anyone here replaced their water pump on a F5B???

I've been convinced to refresh a few parts of my motor before I get it on the road ((( READ: I was bored and couldn't think of anything else to do on the car - so I pulled the engine out :P )))

Pump may possibly be the same as the F6A - but different to the F5A and F8B -- as it runs off the timing belt

anyone got some part numbers for a aus made item?

Sorry mate but the F5B is probably the least common Suzuki engine in the world, so finding parts in Australia would be nigh on impossible - as you've found out.

I think your only genuine option would be greenline.jp

Try http://www.cappuccinosport.com/

Pete (Almost a mini) has an alto rsr (?) and he mentioned that they were good at getting weird bits. But pricey apparently.

Cappuccinosport website seems to work fine. . .
Maybe try an email directly to: sales@cappuccinosport.com
Be prepared for high shipping costs but parts will get to you very quickly (Cappuccino Sport is in England/France but parts are shipped straight from Japan, so they are usually on your doorstep in 3-4 days).
Dany has been a great help getting bits for my Alto when I couldn't source them anywhere else. .

Pistons, rings and gaskets for a DOHC F5A. . .
But he has pretty much everything available - all of the stuff is genuine Suzuki so I guess he just deals directly with a Japanese Suzuki dealer. . .

there is a nz contact where all my f6a parts come from. alot cheaper.

aswell... my f6a dohc water pump runs off the timing belt.
though my jap f5a dohc, uses the same belt as alternator and has the same pulley as a aus 80's f5a.
