They're at it again...

Some of you might be interested to know that The Mighty Boy Club of Australia (TMCOA) has chosen to ban posting of the acronym "TAMON" on it's fourm.

For those of you who do not understand what the implications of this are, it simply means that any time "TAMON" is posted in a message on the fourm it will be replaced with the phrase "un-approved word".

I'd like to think those of us who contribute to TAMON and freely embrace our fellow MightyBoy enthusiasts regardless of who they choose to fraternise with recognise how absurd this type of bigotry is.

It's your shit-stirring there that's got the word banned, josh...

Doesn't mean to say i approve of it, and i'm lobbying against it (i wonder if i'll get banned?). In the early days it was the MBCOA that got me here, so i gladly support them as much as i support guys here.

I know that some people on both sides don't tend to get on, but doing dumb shit like the censorship there is as bad as *lord of this post*'s constant flamage against newbies. All it does is divide an already small community.

Well said Adam. "Lord of the Posts" has already been spoken to about this. :P

While we're still on this topic, it's important to note that the shit-stirring inflicted upon TMCOA fourm didn't extend any further than providing answers and links to unanswered questions.

David Auld's inferiority complex is quite obvious in the statement he delivered on the SuziShop User's Forum today:

http://www.suzishop.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3533

While I am guilty of a lot and readily admit to it, I am not prepared to accept responsibility for David's renewed campaign against Brayden and TAMON, particularly with his history of snide and bitchy behaviour. David's childish power-struggle and self appointed leadership of a community stems from his own arrogance and petty insecurities, neither of which have I been a catalyst for.

Lord Of The Posts has spoken. O:)

...Like sands through the hourglass...
Was a Bold & the Beautiful watcher for a while :?

Josh, not to keep picking, but hows about you just give people the polite answer they're looking for, maybe with the link to here being a point of reference, rather than just link-posting to TAMON with no subtlety - That was the starting point of this little storm-in-a-teacup

We know Dave & Brayden have their differences, but your posts sometimes do nothing but wave the red flag at the bull

Agreed Adam.

However even though I have made my peace over past altercations with David, there is something that bothers me about this latest attempt to rock the boat.
David says that he has made the acronym of TAMON a forbidden word on his forum as I provide no link to his site. Now correct me if I am wrong but I can find no link to TAMON on his site either. His step to block the use of TAMON on his "fourm" is therefore excessive and unwarranted. I would do no such thing if people were to post links to the MBCoA on this forum - that would be petty.

Regardless, it really doesn't bother me a great deal - I am working very hard to make sure that in the near future TAMON will have so much to offer that the MBCoA will become redundant and dormant - not so different to the way it has been for the past 3 years or so.
The only reason people are still finding that dinosaur is through its search engine ranking, and that will change in time.
I welcome all MightyBoy owners and enthusiasts to join a growing community, regardless of their current affiliation, or stick with the old order - its your choice.

I reckon that the biggest irony is that all of this attention has in fact boosted the awareness of TMCOA. If people stop slinging shit around, traffic will normalise & the dominant site will emerge (as Brayden said).

Oh, but please do! I appreciate the feedback more than you're aware of...

In summary:
