I am looking for some mag lock nuts for my boy. (10mm x 1.25)
Brayden, I think you mentioned on the old forum that you knew of a place which manufactures custom ones?
Any help greatly appreciated...

A place called Tefba in Sydney made my lock nuts. Sorry but I don't have the contact details for them.

Just rang them & they are sending me some today (allen key fittments).
Nearly $5 a pop, but still, at least I'll get my beastie going... :)

Glad to help.

$5 each isn't much for custom made wheel nuts when you consider that most off the shelf sets will cost $20+ for generic junk. I don't regret getting Tefba to make me a set, the're still perfect after 5 years use.

I dont think they're actually lock nuts. Just allen key types.
The guy seemed to suggest that they couldn't supply lock nuts in the type I require.

Just something for others to watch out for if they buy mags which have that style of nuts.

:NFI: I ordered my latest wheel nuts from a local tyre shop and they had no trouble getting me whatever I needed, including allen key type nuts. Still they were $4.50ea so no big difference.

Sorry I suggested Tefba because you said lock nuts as opposed to wheel nuts - but they can do both so its all good! I had my lock nuts done by them to guarantee a unique cut which is harder to copy, and the style is such that it cannot be bashed out with a socket either.

The reason I asked for the lock nuts was I can recall you talking about them before & given I had tried just about everywhere else for these nuts I was willing to lob 8 lock nuts on the rears.
Turned out quite well though.

Your latest wheel nuts! That implies that you have a set of mags ready to go... Huh huh...

The guy at Tefba must have freaked when he sold two lots of mightyboy nuts in the one day... LOL
