I rang up nrma today to talk about my ute and i asked them how much they allow for lowering a car... they said 30mm does anyone know if any other insurence companies will cover me as i have lower the boy 50mm and i dont wish to 'raise' it back to normal... any help???

I'm with GIO/AMP and they'll allow any mods so long as they are approved by either an engineer or the RTA.

Yeah, they also love old people. :D They won't touch my ute till I turn 25. :x

Yeah they will, they quoted me $3400 a year for third party property for a g10 turbo... Hence why i didn't do the job :x

cost about $385.00 pa to insure mine as is for $6000.00......ps its good being a old fart :D

10 more months till Shannons get my business... and my money. ;)

I currently pay $270 per year for third party, but as I mentioned that covers all mods. I can switch to comprehensive for $360 but the max coverage I can get is $2200 - which is laughable when I look at what it owes me!
