I've switched to manual activation for a little while until I can talk to dave about installing 2 patches that will get rid of this problem once and for all.

Manual activation has been switched off, as Dave has installed a new bit of software that should help. Fingers crossed of course. ;)

Dave, I was reading that in order for different versions of CAPTCHA to work that you need to have Gallery Magic (sp) installed alongside the forum, otherwise it just reverts to the standard version - which is what it looks like ATM.
