Hi Jono,

no chance you have more photos of the manifold and carb mounting faces? Just for a better idea of how the intake manifold was drilled to suit the weber pattern.

Cheers,
Oskar

No, sorry mate... Don't have any more pics and the old manifold is up the other end of Tassie!

My engine setup? Well, just a rebuilt F8B with an EFI manifold whacked on! Lots of other work needed though. This is what I bought off here

Efi setup:
EMS Dualsport Aftermarket computer tuned for f8b
Relay block
EMS igniter
wirring loom
all new sensors
Bosh high power electronic ignition
EFi Manifold
throttle body
injectors
fuel rail
Modified and locked distributer with magnetic pickup
bigger feed fuel line (use your current feed as return line)
vl turbo high pressure pump
Genuine Facit low pressure pump
fuel filters
hpc coated inlet pipe with ram filter
custom radiator piping

Haven't done a 0-100 time, it still needs a dyno tune to remap the fuel and ignition to suit my engine (F8B it came off had high compression head and cam work).. AND some extractors (hopefully in the next couple of weeks).

$700, which is pretty good I reckon :)

Been a worthwhile exchange. I've ordered my extractors; they will be getting made in the next week or so. Then I just have to put it on the dyno and re-map the fuel and ignition to suit my engine :D

Yeah, I got it off a guy on these forums who had it on his hatch. It came in a box all ready to bolt on and connect up :) (including labels as to where the wires went which was awesome!)

hey mate, wondering if u could send me a copy of the map.

i have also a ems dualsport.

if u dont know how to do it.
plug in a computer, install the ems software from their website, your computer when plugged in and ignition turned on, will retrieve your current settings.

goto file and save as, goes into one small file..

cheers mate

just want to compare the differences in f6a and f8b map.

Cool - will (try) and do that for you tomorrow. My map came of 'hatch4play' who had a worked head and different cam. I am getting it dyno tuned in the next couple of months so I could send the different map to you then.

Cheers,

Jono

PS - What sort of cold start settings do you have? Im struggling to start mine in the cold and want an idea of what others have!

When i get a chance, i'll send you my map for cold start. Since the weather up here is getting colder, mine is slightly over fueling on initial start. I will keep in touch.

Do you have any cold start settings?

Yeah, I have 48% for cold crank.
0 degrees - 10%
20 degrees - 15%

These are rough figures off the top of my head. But it definitiely needs tuning as it's been about 4-6 degrees in the morning when I start it up and it has a bit of a hard time!!!
