These shots show the new intake thats yet to be modded to fit the suzuki head.
Im also sorting the sump buy modding the f10a sump onto a g13b sumps flange.

Sorry about the images, I just upload them all on photobucket all at once. Ill upload them on this site later.

@ Seedy Al:
Nah.. I don't want to run a dry sump if I can avoid it. Its a van not a race car, lol!

A little update.
Finished modifying the throttle body that came with the plenum to not only clear the distributor but to also take the suzuki TPS.

Also after trying a bunch of different honda belts I found one that'll work.

Ive sent off my intake manifold gasket to have a 10mm thick aluminum flange made up that'll be mated to the runners of the new plenum.

A 1.6L water pump inlet fits over the box like a dream and allows me to run my rad down the passenger side of the van.

Its all working quite well at the moment, however the starter still has me stumped. :?

A few shots of the throttle body.

55mm in size
Electronic idle removed (12mm brass plugs)
TPS side modded to take suzuki TPS
Throttle linkage swapped to nissan (FJ20 cruse control, for those playing at home) unit.

Still have to tap a hole for the new idle screw and cut a small bit of steel to act as the TPS's "arm".

Also, the intake flange was posted today. I should be able to get it welded on soonish (going to uni now tho :| )

Its a bit late now, but an SR20 TPS is a bolt-on swap with a GTi plenum. ;)

Oh yeah, good point!

So how are you going to get that to bolt onto the GTI head? Cut the runners and plate off a GTi manifold and weld it onto the plate that supports your new plenum?

Cut the runners down about 4cm so that they match (very close to) a GTi flange. I sent off a gasket to be made into a GTi alu flange, which will be welded onto the existing, shorter runners.

It sits lower, has longer runners and puts the throttle body in a very nice position.

The guy thats doing my laser cutting ran into some problems and ill be waiting on my flange for a while.

The car situation at my home has changed for the worst, so while the new engine trans combo is being fiddled with, the F10A has to go back in.

Ive had more head issues since I brought the van. So now ive ditched the old one for a 800cc head.

Im hoping new seals, bearings, a thermo fan, and a quick clean, along with the new head will make the van run much happier than before.

Im still going ahead with the wheel swap too.. just because it looks badass! lol.
