I'd be both surprised if they did & scared at the same time. I thought the F series gearboxes would fit all F series engines.

I'm going to see about getting the bearings, syncro's & seals to rebuild my F8b box soon.

I have been offered a box with the following marked on it.... 2F01B04
I have no idea what the box is and would appreciate any help I can get.

Hey guys...

I have a gearbox that was sitting behind and F8B and i was wanting to check the ratios to ensure it is an F8B.
(Only an 5AL on the bottom of the box)

The gearbox is sitting on the floor and unopened and i was wondering how to put in in 4th gear ? Do i need to open it
or can it be done by the gearshift mechanism ?

Once in 4th i assume i need to turn the output shaft 30 times to get 27 turns on the input shaft ?

Would be much easier if there was a video of this :)
