I dont have a hatch with central locking but i have a mighty boy with central locking. Got the kit from autobarn and they also installed it for me. I think it cost around the $100 mark. As for the boot, you would probaly have to go there to se if they could do something for it.

I bought a light buzzer from Jaycar I think. Was only three wires and it works an absolute treat.
Note to self - buy another one for the new MB.

I'm not sure if central locking would work with the rear hatch. From memory the key locks the barrel so the button can't be pressed in, which an actuator would not be able to do.
Sorry can't help with the buzzer until next time I see my ute.

Ok, well i have finally got round to installing central locking. I am having issues with fitting the actuator as the doors are just so incredibly thin and the window takes up so much room. Has anyone got any pics of a central locking kit in their car or have some advice/know-how on the topic.
Also, Brayden have you had a chance to check out the buzzer as I still cannot figure mine out.
Thanks

My central locking actuators are screwed to the vent area under the door latch. (End of the door).
How many wires does your buzzer have?

Sorry Brayden, i dont understand where you mean.
The buzzer has 2 wires, one red, one black connecting to a black buzzer.
The instructions say to connect the red wire to the headlight fuse.
The black wire to a fuse which is only active when ignition is on eg aircon wipers radio
Tried this, no success

I've just bought the same buzzer with the same instructions. I'll see if it works for me.

Connect the red wire to the headlight (aka the wire that runs to the light, parkers might be the best for this one as they come on before headlightsbiscuitsrcool wrote:Sorry Brayden, i dont understand where you mean.
