Would love to of come out to have a look, but I am racing, in Canberra. Can't miss a home race! You taking both Ed and the Rocket out?

I am tempted to take my little beast along. The only category i could enter is 'female' and, even though i have put my own touch to it, i wouldnt class it as a 'girl's' ute. And dont particularly want to deck it out in frangipani stickers and g strings

[Brayden]

It isn't about winning, but having a day out and supporting a good cause. I went in the Sutton ute show a few weekends ago and didn't even get a look in with the awards, but had a good day anyway.

If nothing else it is good for a laugh to see what rednecks think is tasteful decoration of a ute.

yeah fair enough - i'll see ya there! Let me know if you want to meet up beforehand and cruise to the cruise together.

Yeah sure. We'll sort it out closer to the date.

I might pull Special Ed apart and put in all the odd spare panels I have... enter it in the "Feral" category for a laugh.

I am all registered and officially going! Now i just gotta work on my theme. I'll see how over the top i can be. They love that.

Excellent. The great thing about this show is that they've listed the judging criteria for each category on their website.

" Chick’s – Judged on the quality and quantity of the female touch - ute must be owned by a female, maybe with a G-string or two in evidence, etc. "



Interesting criteria. I'll leave "female touch" open to interpretation.
