Does anyone know whether you can import MB's from jap. I know you can do it without import tax cuz MB's are over 15 yrs old. Ive tried emailing a few companies and they just say that they dont know ...

Just curious, but why would you want to import one? They're identical to the Aus spec version only most of them would be rusted out.
