Have got the chance to pick up a reasonably priced KC Technica frontpipe and decat for my Alto Works, which I'd pair with an aftermarket muffler at the back. But I'm wondering how much of a benefit I would get from the frontpipe. The stock frontpipe looks fairly straight but I'm not sure how big a restriction the cat makes.

Can anyone who's made this modification comment about the difference, if any, it made to their car? Would appreciate anything from people who've carried it out :)

You'd be lucky to find anyone on here who has done the mod, as our Suzuki's don't have catalytic converters. ;)

I know that changing from a standard cat to a high-flow metal cat only makes a marginal difference in performance, and changing the front pipe would only help if it was a separated design.
