Hi Guys & Girls...
Being the eternal optimist :D and expecting no issues throughout the Albury gathering, I've started planning the next local cruise after the gathering.

Six weeks after Albury is Sunday the 2nd of May.
For several reasons this day suits me to take the 'boy for another run.
(And is NOT Mother's day!!)

Starting in Heidelberg (just for something different!) -> Glen Huntly -> Cockatoo -> Woori Yallock [Lunch] -> Healesville -> Yarra Glen -> Watson's Creek -> Heidelberg.

Google says 3 hours 20 minutes driving time, so Meet @ 10:00am - Depart 10:30 means Lunch will be about 12:30 in Woori Yallock and get back about 3:30 - 4:00pm ish (?)

Usual deal - If you'd like to come along, be at the meeting point at 10 on the 2nd...

I'd appreciate the company! :)

Cheers

That looks a good run, by then my engine, gearbox and diff internals will be 85% the hardness of diamond and virtually frictionless so all of you had better have your turbo's connected to keep up with me. :burnout:

Ian - I'd love to come along to this cruise, but i really have NFI what i will be doing that far down the track, so i will put myself down for a pending.

I will have to fix up the oil leak that developed on the Albury cruise, it's not bad, but it's annoying me. Time to get some petrol resistant rubber & make a proper rocker cover gaskit. I haven't even done quite 3000kms and it's leaking.

I put 850kms on the mighty boy this weekend, yep only Saturday & Sunday! That's a tad over 10% of the 8,000kms a year I'm insured for lol. I think i might have to start keeping a log book to prove I'm running under what i insure it for....

Cheers

So I'll make it the Sunday PRIOR... Now Sunday 2nd of May...

Oh crap, yeah, we better not ignore our mums on that day.... not worth having an angry mother just so we can go on a cruise....

Cheers

Just realised I haven't detailed the meeting point for this cruise! :-o
It is Heidelburg Park, off Burgundy St. Where burgundy St becomes Beverley Road :

Meet you there at 10:00am - Depart by 10:30am.

Cheers!

Here is my recommendation for your first stop!

I manage a nursery on weekends in Bulleen, about 1minute from your meeting point. This is the reason you never see me on Sunday cruises!!
The place is Bulleen Art and Garden, Ill park the mb in the front car park if your going to drop by.

Drop buy and buy some plants, I'm sure I can work out a mb club discount. Or just have a look around the place.

And you can do a right hand turn straight into the nursery (don't need to do a U-turn at the lights like the maps says)
