If the stalks have broken you need to replace the combination switch. I suspect the problem might be caused by the boss kit you had to "hammer" on.

Defs from the boss kit. The original boss kit just slipped on. I read another post about the boss kit and another person had to hammer it on, so i thought it was normal. Me thinks i shall use the original steering wheel until i can get a wheel to suit my other boss kit that fitted perfectly. Thats what i meant by stalks, the whole plastic thing under the steering wheel. The hatch one should fit right? Just without the intermediate wiper?

The part that comprises the indicator and wiper stalks is known as a combination switch. Not sure if a Hatch one fits. Never tried it.

If the boss had to be hammered into place, it sounds as if there is a very good chance the spline/boss is incorrect, and therefore now damaged. If you intend on returning the original boss and wheel, I would suggest you inspect the splines. The last thing you want is to lose your steering.

The hatch combination switch is not a direct swap: one of the 2 plugs is different shape and (from memory) it has one less pin, which is probably the intermittent wiper.
However, with a bit of patience, everything is possible :P

Hey Billie,
I had the same problem with my saas boss kit (134bk) from memory.
I had to hammer it on, where the original just slipped on? I can stil use the original if I wanted to.

Did your indicator cancelers snap too?

I have a old style boss kit, just need a wheel for it. Or cut the indicator canceling pins. But for now i'll use the standard wheel, dnt want to be forking out 150 everytime i break those things.
