Just get some flexi pipe and a pod filter from repco, make a circle plate that bolts to the top of the carb and clamp the hose to it. U'll get cooler air and a better sound :)

Anyone in the list on this page can get you one. Should cost no more than $30-35.

If you're going to go for a pod then make sure you shield it, otherwise you'll just suck in hot air and decrease the engine performance.

Hey brayden. Mine is abit further forward than ceej's. Would i need to heat shield it? After driving the car for an hour or so, the pod is still like, normal temp, not sure if they get hot. Its better than what i had, the lil filter ontop of engine, coz that just got heated from the cylinder head.

Get a cheapo temp sensor and put it inside the pod. Ceej did this and found it made no difference over the standard setup.

Your also in canaberra. Brisbane is alot hotter. I dnt think it will improve performance, but sounds, looks and i think keeps the engine abit cooler.
