speco sell them for around 100. Easy to find on ebay.

Might want dual battery or bigger alternator if your going to have a massive sound system Mine with 2 12 inch subs and amp with 4 speakers with 4 channel amp use to make it nearly die at idle from so much current drop, turn the music down and the revs went back up hehe. I have a falcon ef alternator (110amp).

You might get away with a hybrid battery - part starting part deep cycle in the one case. I don't know how much bigger you can get under the bonnet though. If you put a battery inside the car, avoid using a normal lead acid type - they produce hydrogen. Aside from displacing essential oxygen in the passenger space hydrogen is highly volatile :bomb: Use a sealed battery instead.
So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..

I think its cheaper to do the ef alternator, and it doesnt need replacing every 4-5 years :)

Maybe, you will need all the alternator wiring done, 25 or so to 110 amp can melt wires. Also a custom tensioning bracket is required, but the holding bracket at the bottom fits perfectly. I have a pic in my gallery of it, i think.
