well.. iv had my mb since i was 13, drove it around the farm, then brought a 2nd one for my licence, wrote it off, and we did the red one up..

from this...

to this..

was running f8b with f5a gearbox, killed the motor..
brought a hatch from melb that has been writen off, had been rebuilt, wacked that motor in and it went hard!

i then aquired a turbo setup, running that atm with 6psi boost, the motor has to much compression, so at some stage it will come out and il change heads and re-ring it as its got lots of blow by, also have a efi setup to put on aswell..

intercooler..

HAHAHA

Nice MB, the paint and wheels make it look nice and tidy. Do you plan on doing the rest of the body kit to go with the side skirts? or just leave it as-is?

Cheers

Is that setup not intercooled? You going to go front mount or top?

What size intercooler do you plan on fitting? I didn't think there was much room behind a standard front bumper for one. Or are you going to fit the cervo front bar then do the front mount?

Well things r happening.. After doin a compression test and finding
75psi on no1
135 on no2
130 on no3

Put some oil in no 1 and it come up to 150 so was thinkin a broke ring but
It got worse.. Found a broken piston, plus some brass fillings on the oil strainer can't find we're they r from
All the bearings r like new... So could have been sitting in the sump we fitted with the oil return
So at this stage thinking new pistons, rings, oil pump, get the head cc'd as
It had to much compression, and it looks like the block has been decked at some stage

Well,
I have my engine together, has been fully rebuilt, lowered compression, efi gear bolted up, turbo system fitted
All sitting in the engine bay, it's pretty much wired up as it sits,
Intercooler piping gets done this weekend and radiator is bein fitted
Have to replace the wheel bearings, have slotted rotors and green pads also new cv joints,
