ok,

ive run into another problem

how do i remove the carry f10a dipstick tube?
the sierra f10a has a different dipstick design and therefore a different length..etc

need to swap the carry dipstick + tube in, in order to read the correct oil level

thanks

ok all sorted

dipstick tube was a very tight interference fit

ended up removing it with a bit of heat from an oxy torch

assembling engine today
and possibly installing back in

thanks mate

i will continue documenting this process as much as possible so others know what is involved in the swap

there is a casting for a bolt on the maruti engine block which need to be cutoff/ground off to allow clearance for the water pipe
it will become obvious what needs to be removed when you go to bolt on the water pipe but i will upload pics showing what to do

apart from that, everything else is as per manual

engine has been bolted back in

just need to connect everything up and fill up with oil/coolant
