So I've always wanted a tray back ute so I finally got one...... A 1980 LJ 81. Needs a bit of tlc but it should be fun for taking on the dunes at Stockton beach. Anyone with any spares for an f8a let me know.

With the international reputation of these LJ's, I can't beleive that I didn't get one sooner.
Also can't beleive how much fun I've had stripping it back. I thougght the MB was a simple car! The leaps and bounds that Suzuki made between the two models over five years is unbeleivable!
It is 100% times less complicated than a Mighty Boy!

I can say the same of my LJ50 (1976 model) - hasn't been on the road in 12 years. I had to keep it due to the fun factor, simply have not come on funds to put an original style rollbar back in it. I was looking for an LJ81 or (better) a Sierra trayback when the MightyBoy came along...fun factor dictated it be kept as well.
So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..
