You're right...
Smaller offset means the distance between the back face and the centreline of the tyre is less, so the tread effectively moves outward...

About 80-90 bucks a corner.
Same exact tread patten as my last set of 13" Nankangs.
Grip like shit.. Except for aquaplaning in the wet @ 110kph... But that could just be excessive speed in a very light car.
