So the engine in my parts car is seized. I'm not entirely sure why but evidence points to a head gasket failure, then time set in. So I'm going to try get it running again.

So...
1: Remove head and inspect/clean everything.
2: Scrape bore clean, and do whatever I have to to get the bottom end rotating again.
3: If head and bore look remotely useable, reinstall with new head gasket
4: Pray that the bottom end bearings and oil system is ok.

Now I know this is far from ideal but all I have to lose is $30 for a new head gasket. And I could be gaining a running f8b...

Good luck. If it doesn't rotate it will need more than a clean and new gasket. Just my experience.

Actually yeah, just pulled the rocker cover off. The rust is bad... Time to use up my recon'd f8b...
