Nice. I've got a G10 and 5 speed that might interest you when the time comes. If you go fitting race seats I'd be keen to talk about your originals if they're useable.

G'day guys,
*stands up* hi, my name is Shane and im an alcoholic.... oh sorry wrong place

anywho I'm Shane and im 34 and from Sydney, came across this site while searching the internet for old school G10a performance gear.

While i dont actually own a MB but i do quite love them and want to get one in the future. i do own an 84' Swift In amazing original condition with less then 80,000Km's on the clock

My plans for this car is to leave it completely stock on the outside and interior but modify the engine with either a Supercharger or Turbo, i was going to leave it completely stock until i noticed that the engine is not actually the original one that the car was sold with so i have no attachment to the engine...

im sure some people on this site would hold a wealth of knowledge regarding the older Suzuki engines so am looking forward to picking some brains to educate myself...

cheeres and hope to speak to as many of you as possible

Have been following the web-site for a while and finally signed up.
Only done a few improvements like steering wheel , tacho , etc , but
bought a F8B motor off another member (Danny) and have just finished
rebuilding it , so that's the "winter" project.
Cheers

Hi I'm Carlee, I'm 22, live in South East Queensland.
Just bought a '85 Mighty Boy a couple of weeks ago as a restoration project since most of my family have their own (Dad - old f250, Mum - old mini and a virago motorbike, little brother has an old bj landcruiser).
It has bit of rust, most of the parts there and is a couple of different colours....for now :)
I literally know minimal about cars, so it is great that I found this website full of Mighty Boy knowledge  :)

Hello
My name is elie
I have a question and hope will be answered by
I have a f5a suzuki engine with its 2 speed auto transmission.
it is now installed on a light 4 wheels hand made car
There is an electric valve on the transmission. Can any body tell me how and when it should b connected to 12 volt?
does anybody has some doc on this transmission?
I have no power to drive on slopes.
it feels like driving on 2nd speed instead of first.
Unit is Very well on horizontal driving but very slow on slopes

My name is Rod and I live on Sydney's Upper North Shore.

My Son, Lachlan, who is 22 purchased a sad Mighty Boy sans engine and gearbox.

We purchased a Matiz to wreck and use as much of the mechanical and interior components as possible.

I've built cars before, and own a L300 Mitsubishi chopped into a ute with a 350kw LS3 in the tray.

We will be chasing advice and parts for this project.

Lachlan drives an Evo VIII as his daily drive so the MB is just for kicks.

I'm Leo, and I'm from the U.S. originally, living in NZ for 12 years now. Saw my first Carry here and loved it, knew it was my destiny. Last year got a '91 Supercarry and am gradually fixing it up. Delighted to find this forum!
