(NSW) Spring cruise ideas thread

Hot on the heels of the annual Albury cruise I want to get some ideas flowing for a spring cruise somewhere in NSW. So please share your thoughts on potential locations and dates. 8)

To get the ball rolling, I was thinking of Kangaroo Valley/Kiama in September. Why? Because there is a seriously sweet set of roads down there that would make an amazing cruise loop. http://g.co/maps/573fy

Looks the goods, I'd be very happy with that route or of course the old pacific highway via Wisemans ferry :)

I've done the old pac run a few times years ago, but it always seemed to be very busy on weekends and swarming with cops. Is that still the case?

having done the old pac and kangaroo valley in the mb (admittedly quite some time ago) i'd go kangaroo valley every time. like brayden said, less traffic, less cops.

That's up to everyone to decide, but I'd prefer a full weekend.

Could sort it for a weekend, staying at: http://www.discoveryholidayparks.com.au ... ast/gerroa

Heaps to do in the area, lots of places for food, and if I'm not mistaken a jumping pillow! :D

Well, as soon as you decide the date, let's see if we can organize a victorian contingent.
I may not drive the HOLK up, but I wouldn't mind bring it up on a trailer

Good point - anyone want to start throwing some dates around? I know we're a ways off spring yet, but it won't hurt to see if there's any preference for a particular weekend. (Note that it'd be good to avoid NSW school holidays - 24th Sept to 9th Oct.) We could make it as early as August, or sometime in October if September doesn't suit the majority.

If there are a few Melbournites interested there is always the option of getting your utes hauled on a backload (cheap).

They don't need to backload Brayden, Tez can just flat tow them up! :P

Hi everyone,

New to the forum

Id be keen to come down from the Hunter Valley with my Hatch.

As for a date, i dont plan more than a week in advance so im good just about any date, but I agree, no school holidays.

Would be cool to see a few hatch's come along with your MB's.
