your thoughts on this idea anyone
could i run twin pipes all the way on my carry the same size as the standard ones or maybe a bit bigger at the start of the exhaust system here is a pic of what i mean.
this is just a thought. wanting somthing different

You'll gain more power by having a single exhaust as the gases will flow together and make more backpressure. As for size I'd go 1/2 to 1/34 inch, much more and your going to lose power. Run 1 muffler and a resonator if you wanted.
I was running a 2 inch on my carbed engine and it spat flames and backfired like crazy under decleration. Was awesome as.
Once you clear the battery box its a dead straight exhaust.

i dont think ill be doing it as its just somthing iwas thinking about. it would be cool to run twins out ether side in front of the back wheels

You can pretty much straight-line it from the final collector. I made an exhaust for my Carry last year using a piece of straight 2" pipe, one 20deg mandrel bend and two mufflers. I have to admit that it is one of the sweetest sounding exhausts I have heard.
