Hi

Greetings from Finland, Europe.

My english might be little rusty, it isnt my native language.

I got 1989 Suzuki Alto CA72, 2nd generation alto
(at europe it has sold until 1993),
it is impossible found front shock absorber at Europe. It seems at Australia some people seems enjoy these little suzuki made cars.

Well my problem is that at europe Suzuki isnt popular car. So some spareparts are impossible to get or really expensive.

I am asking all most another side in earth little favor.

Can some on check, is it possible get front shock absorbers to Suzuki Alto Model CA72 1989.
And what is price estimation.

Finland Suzuki Importer company cannot estimate delivery time and price tag is 330 Australian Dollars each.

No front shock absorbers available in Australia except for Suzuki genuine, which are around $250-300 AUD each.

As suggested above, shock absorbers from a Daewoo Matiz can be modified to fit and are available:

Me: Do you know if H#11/12S suspension will fit on C#72V or C#11V?

From テイクオフ / TAKE OFF

I think that they are the same suspensions.
But, please check the spring rate.

Having a look at the coilovers I can see the rear mounts are 90deg different to the other where if you look at my car the mounts are facing the same direction.

Not sure if you can turn them to change to the same direction or not?

Also I measured the top of the front and the mounting bolts center are 117mm apart it would be cool if I knew what the other model cars are to see if they are the same?

Cheers,

http://www.monster-sport.com/e/car/alto ... l#CR/CS22S

Also looking at the part numbers on the HA11S/21S, HB11S/21S & CN/CP21S,CR/CS22S they are the same for SPORT HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION [Fr & Rr] 554500-2000

So my only hope would be if the CC72V are the same aswell?

I'm confident everything will fit fine,
Strut tops all share the same factory number

In a different pic on the technica site the rear shock is orientated correctly.

Is that your brothers on eBay?

Well I hope so too lol, ill get my brother to measure up his setup and compare it just to make sure.

My brother got a 11 1988/89 RS/X the same shape as yours. I got the older 1987 CC72V RS-R. None of them are for sale on ebay. Dont think i will ever sell them lol.
