I was going to strip it, but I don't have the time or the inclination now.
When we got the car home, and had a good look at what we'd bought, it seemed too good to strip, so I haven't yet.
It is complete less the battery which was knackered and I've since ditched.
The car was driven off the trailer and to where it sits in out back garden now, and the engine seemed to run sweetly.
A lap of the block would suggest the auto trans doesn't want to go up to second/high.
The bonnet release is broken too - so I discovered AFTER I closed the bonnet and then tried to re-open it.
I'm sure some patience poking about with a long screwdriver from underneath would flip the catch open.
Electronic Dash is present, but wasn't connnected when we got the car so I can't comment on whether it works or not.
Bring a car-trailer and an offer over $500 and it's yours.
You all know as well as I do that, given the current scarcity of F8b's and other nice bits like the electronic dash, this is a fair starting price.
No I'm NOT interested in stripping it or selling off bits...
