well my mightyboy's survived the boyne island (qld) floods but only just i had one up to the bottom of the doors in water and the other one was still on the hopist up in the air luckily they both survived do feel sorry for one fellow mb owner though he had been restoring his for quiet some time and only just had it put on the road 3 weeks ago sadly she is no longer around we found it had been washed away with the rageing torrents of water that went through the property and the mightyboy now resides at the bottom of the river.

As long as the 'Captain of that impromptu ship' is safe & well all is good albeit sad to hear another one gone. Mine is about the only of my belongings to avoid the wet up here. Over 750 mm of rain over 3 days at Maleny. Water came up through the slab & out the front door... such is life.
So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..

Reports I heard via Sunrise suggest the rum factory wasn't harmed... may have been an early call though.
Only wish I could have a decent man cave. I have a heap of things around here need finishing but I can't do much without the mad woman upstairs acting as though she owns me (she can't legally stop me but I prefer to keep the peace). After loosing a heap of magazines, paperwork & furniture when water came up through the slab & out the front door I had hoped that was enough... returning from the coast yesterday the radiator in my Jackaroo burst its top tank. Been trying to find out why but have been told by a mechanic & a radiator specialist that plastic tanks can give out with age. Just means more time the MB has to wait for money...

yea the bundy factory according to there updates has survived the flood and donated 200k to the qld flood appeal, and yes it is a sad way to see an mb retire considering it would have been one of the nicest specimens out there the bumpers wer recast from a homemade die and had chrome stripes along the center of them the pin strips wer all painter on it was a masterpiece, fully refurbished interior and instruments, rewired front to back and upgraded to more reliable wireing upgraded headlights, completely rebuilt engine and gearbox, this thing was amazing looked like brand new as if it has just rolled off the production line.
